Alofa Yoga Daku Resort Jan 2 -9 2016

Alofa Yoga focuses on the journey towards oneness with the universe that yoga can bring. “Alofa” is the Samoan word for love, and Taialofa’s practice asks the student to understand love through their daily practice – firstly love and acceptance for oneself, and then love for others and the environment in which we live. A practice in Fiji allows an immediate and vivid approach to a rich environment, and the inspiration and fresh insights you gain can be taken home and applied to your daily life.

The retreat offers two daily sessions: an energetic morning vinyasa flow, and a late afternoon restorative session with guided meditation.

The retreat is suitable for all levels. The morning session will be robust and challenging, but Taialofa will offer alternatives for less experienced practitioners, along with the gentle encouragement that helps them meet those challenges and deepen their practice. She knows from her wide teaching experience that a retreat is an ideal opportunity for less confident yoga students to gain the time and familiarity that transform seemingly impossible asanas into an accessible and integral part of their practice.
